Pingle’s Farm Market

Pingle’s Farm is a 138 acre farm, owned and operated by the McKay family, and located  just outside the urban sprawl of Toronto, on the east side of Durham Region. We have 30 acres of apples. We also grow the following produce: strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, sweet corn, asparagus, tomatoes, peppers, peas, beans, and pumpkins. We grow about 15 acres of flowers including: sunflowers, cut flowers, lavender, and tulips.

We have a year-round, farm market on-site, with a focus on Canadian made products and Ontario meat, cheeses and produce. We have a scratch bakery with a pastry chef and bakery team. We also have a savory team that produces frozen meals, savory bakery items, soups and homemade sourdough pizzas.

Our event season begins with Easter, with tulips following directly after. Then, May starts off our Pick-Your-Own season, which continues until the end of October. Our main event for the year is Harvest Fest and we end the season with Christmas festivities. We also have a playland with a number of attractions and an animal barn. Our goal is to create fun for the whole family and offer food and drink so that they can stay for the whole day and enjoy themselves.

Our purpose of this farm is to be an experiential farm, where people can walk the farm and pick produce, learn about farm animals, and learn about farm life in general. We grow many fruits and vegetables on the farm, all for the purpose of Pick-Your-Own.
